The District Task Force organized a meeting to make necessary arrangements for the second phase of Pulse Polio Campaign. Nearly 4 Lacs, 62 thousand and 201 kids will be benefited in the second term on 22^nd February.

Directed by Collector Ashutosh Pedenekar, the roles of various departments were discussed in the meeting. For the supervision of the campaign, special flying squads will be arranged for. The campaign is to be made success through the collective efforts of schools, general public, NGOs and institutions.

A total of 1775 booths are established in the district. 7100 vaccinators and 355 supervisors will be associated with the campaign. Surveillance officer Dr. Kavita’s report imparted light on the development of the work and denoted that 80% coverage was made till January, 2015.

In the meeting, chief medical and health officer Dr. Sanjeev Tak, AVVNL’s Purushottam Paliwal and other specialists and officers were present.
