On the second day of Mewar Festival, a cultural program consisting of folk dances, songs and musical performances by artists from various regions of the state was organized along with the Best Rajasthani Dressed Foreign Couple competition at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal.

On the second day of Mewar Festival, a cultural program consisting of folk dances, songs and musical performances by artists from various regions of the state was organized along with the Best Rajasthani Dressed Foreign Couple competition at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal.

Umar Farukh group from Alwar gave an enthralling musical performance on traditional folk musical instruments while a group from Baran presented famous haroti Chakri Dance. Internationally acclaimed music group from Southern Rajasthan Kohinoor sang a melodious ‘Hichki (Hiccup)’ to mesmerize the audience. The performances also included traditional Punjabi and Gujarati dances.

After all the cultural programs, Best Rajasthani Dressed Foreign Couple competition was organized in which foreign tourists appeared in traditional Rajasthani attire and competed with each other. Smiling and laughing all the time, they seemed very happy and enthused to wear colorful dresses, and same was the case with Indian audience who witnessed foreigners in a new avatar.
