Construction work of the proposed mini auditorium in Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC) campus got underway today. The Foundation Stone was placed by Gulab Chand Kataria, MLA, Udaipur and social worker Shyam Lal Kumawat.

According to Rajni Dangi, Mayor, UMC, the proposed mini-auditorium will have a capacity to hold around 270 people and will be equipped with central air conditioning facility. The Corporation has estimated a cost of Rs 1.45 crores for the construction.

According to Prem Singh Shaktawat, President, Development Committee, UMC, the mini auditorium has been a much needed requirement of the city for quite some time. He further informed that the mini auditorium will be constructed over an area of around 5000 Sq Feet.
