Free surgical eye camp to cure Cataract on December 15

In an appreciable social initiative, a free surgical eye camp will be organized on 15th December at Naiyo Ki Talai by a combined effort of Rotary Club Udaipur, District Health Committee and Dr Kothari Eye Hospital’s Vision Foundation Trust. In this initiative, patients will be operated for cataract, which is one of the biggest reasons for blindness after a certain age.

In an appreciable social initiative, a free surgical eye camp will be organized on 15th December at Naiyo Ki Talai by a combined effort of Rotary Club Udaipur, District Health Committee and Dr Kothari Eye Hospital’s Vision Foundation Trust. In this initiative, patients will be operated for cataract, which is one of the biggest reasons for blindness after a certain age.

President of Rotary Club Udaipur, Sushil Banthiya informed that the camp will be organized at Terapanth Bhawan and the services will be provided free of cost. On 15th of December, tests will be conducted and on 16th, intra ocular lenses will be fixed through operations.

He said that the Trust, with the help of Rotary Club, has been organizing such camps for past 35 years.

Dr Anil Kothari of Kothari Eye Hospital said that they have operated almost 45 thousand people suffering from blindness due to cataract. They have been providing this service for free to the people in rural areas in Udaipur, Pratapgarh and Rajsamand District.
