In a cross-cultural research activity, aimed at understanding the culture, religious beliefs and spirituality of the city of Udaipur and the French city of Strasbourg, photographers Albert Hoober (in photo below) and Anuradha Saroop from Strasbourg and Udaipur respectively captured the monuments, religious places, historical buildings, and people and life of both the cities.

It has been planned that in the month of October, a photography exhibition displaying the photographs of both the cities will be organized in City Palace, Udaipur.

The cultural exchange is the next step to the technical exchange which was the result of prudence of 76^th Custodian of Mewar, Arvind Singh Mewar who led the local representatives of the two cities to sign an agreement with a motive to learn and implement best practices and technologies used in the cities.

Under the agreement, elected people from both the places visited each other’s city and surveyed the developments and working of the two cities and presented their technical report.

Strasbourg, in France, is a beautiful historical city famous for preserving its culture and heritage, for its superior administration in maintaining cleanliness in the city and for providing proper public transport to the locals and tourists.
