The Fresher’s Week came to an end on a grand note with the Fresher’s party organized for the newcomers in Advent Institute of Management Science and Technology (UG), on September 7, 2012.

The event started with welcoming the Adventians to a night of fun and entertainment.

In his address to the newcomers, Aditya Shah CAO, Advent age Education Foundation, stressed on the need of vibrant and friendly environment of learning in the current scenario.

Dr. Amitha Singhvi Principal, AMIST (UG), focused upon the importance of such programmes along with course curriculum for the holistic development of the students.

Priyanka Pagaria, Coordinator, AIMST (UG), briefed that, the seniors organized ramp walk, question-answer round, talent round etc. for the new students on the basis of which Shubham Lodha and Tanisha Mathur were selected for the title of Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher respectively.

Mister & Miss Fresher award was followed by some very fine dance moves by Amit Bhawrani and Nilesh Sharma.

To set a bit of change in the mood, Sachin Chandra mesmerized the audience with his Guitar performance. Later in the evening, the students rocked the dance floor on the beats of DJ Dev.

The event finally drew to a close with vote of thanks by Anubha Mathur, Assistant Professor. She thanked the various committees for their efforts they put in to make the entire event a grand success.
