Gavri is a folk idea which signifies a drama where mythology entertainment and the cult worship of trance collude . The youth festival organised by Mohanlal Sukhadia University is going to showcase several interesting events in the time span of three days.

A youth energy icon gets idealized and expressed through the festivities marked by the Gavri festival. There are various competitions associated with this festival which include Quiz, Debate, Menhdi, Painting , Rangoli and many more . Prof. I.V. Trivedi (Vice Chancellor) was the Chief Guest of the inaugural session .So, welcome Udaipur for this wonderful session of three days which signifies the youth iconography!

In the arena of Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, Prof. I.V. Trivedi called for the event. Though, the program was scheduled at 10 am but due to some technical hindrance it was delayed to 11.30 am. Prof. Dr. Venugopal Rao, Mr R.R Halalka (Enterpenur) and Prof. Vijaya laxmi were the other dignities.

To start with the cultural program there was a Gavri performance by local tribe artist. After the lovely performance of Gavri, started the program which was eagerly awaited by the students of various colleges. Following the schedule of the event started Inter College solo singing competition which was participated by all the colleges of city. Energetic performance of the participants created a pleasurable environment. Some participants performed the classical song which gave the event a perfect mix.

Event became more interesting when followed by One Act Play and Mimicry in which students tried to give the social message against bad practices while the Mimicry made the program joyful. Other program included Face Painting, Instrumental, Classical competition.
