An online competition poster has been released to encourage Rajasthani dance and culture. Ghoomar Diva 2020 is the first of its kind of competition which will take place online.

As informed by Raaz Nayak, the director of this programme, Ghoomar performances will be done online and the best dancer will be awarded with the title of Ghoomar Diva 2020.

Registrations for this competition will also be done online. People from any age group can participate in this online competition. The competition is being held online due to the ongoing pandemic.

Since the culture of Rajasthan is slowly taking a backseat, this programme aims at giving encouragement to Rajasthani dance and culture. This is also a promotional activity to bring back the art and culture of Rajasthan and spread it to a great extent so that it does not get lost among other forms of dance. Those present during the release of the poster were Dimple Rathore, Jyotsna Jhala, Meena Mogra, Saroj Chowdhary, Ritu Prajapat, Vipra Mehta, Mukesh Madhwani, Shaukeen Janwa and a few others.
