Lt. General Bobby Matthews, General Officer Commanding of Konark Corps visited Udaipur Military Station on Wednesday. He examined the infantry, equipment and administrative procedures at the station.

Lt. Colonel Maneesh Ojha said, “Lt. General observed the training of soldiers at Eklingarh Military Station and inquired about the Welfare Programs presently running for the soldiers.”

Lt. General also informed about the various welfare programs at Konark Core. He added that the motive of these programs is to provide accommodation, spouse accommodation, child education, medical facilities and providing facilities to the retired officials of the army.

He also met 23 students from Jammu Kashmir who are on the educational tour to Udaipur. The students are on a visit of Noida and Udaipur under ‘Operation Sadbhavana’ run by the Indian Army.

Lt. General also appreciated the various precautionary measures taken in the city in case of any natural disaster.
