On the occasion of 471 Birth Anniversary of legendary King of Mewar- Maharana Pratap on 4^th June. An organization “Maharana Pratap Sewa Samiti” based in Gogunda the land where Maharana Pratap’s coronation was taken place is organizing series of events on a theme dedicated to education awareness.

In a press conference held at City Palace’s Darbar Hall jointly conducted by Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar chief curator of the organization and vice president of Gogunda Gram Panchayat – Abhimanyu Singh Jhala who is also the president of Maharana Pratap raj tilak samiti has briefed the media personnel. While talking to journalists present at Darbar Hall, Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar had said “Our aim is to congregate people from all caste on the day of Pratap’s Jayanti, to commemorate the characteristics of Mewar’s great Maharana”

The program is going to be attended by Sawai Jitendra Singh – Alwar Cabinet Minister, Dr. CP Joshi – Minister RD, Mahendrajeet Singh Malwiya and many other political magnets.

As asked, is this program politically influenced? Why so many politicians are invited on the occasion? Lakshyaraj Singh replied gently, “We are not doing any politics here, This is not a first time we are doing such event, we came up with various social causes like feticide, environment etc”.

Abhimanyu Singh Jhala said “On 4^th June a grand rally would be start from post office Gogunda and will end up at Maharana Pratap Raj Tilak Palace, the procession will consist of various traditional dance performed by locals of Gogunda, we will try our best to give a single message of power of education”.
