City’s popular Ashoka Bakery became a fleeting shrine for cricket devotees today. A big sized bat and a ball made up of bread were displayed with tempting cakes to wish the Team India – Best of Luck! for the upcoming cricket World Cup.

Mostly, the young students gathered at Ashoka Bakery at 3pm today for a small celebration in a big way by cutting the cake and wishing a great luck for Indian cricket team.

Nidhi, a student participated in the celebration, said that she just loves watching cricket and is waiting keenly to see the team India winning. Though she confessed that Australian bowler Bret Lee is her favourite cricketer.

Graviti Paneri is a fan of Indian team and wants India to win world cup unbeaten, her favourite player is Sachin Tendukar

Like Nidhi and Graviti many young cricket fans of Udaipur are gearing up for the cricket season to start in next few days.

Jai wadhwani owner of Ashoka bakery organized the event to wish India a good luck for the mega series saying – “chak de India”.
