Monuments of great personalities including Bhairo Singh Shekhawat (former vice president) and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay were revealed at parks at Rani Road and Dudh Talai today by Kalyan Singh, Governor of Rajasthan.

The programs were organized by Udaipur Municipal Corporation. The monument of Bhairo Singh Shekhawat is installed at a park at Rani Road area whereas the statue of P. Deendayal Upadhyay is put at Dudh Talai Park.

Gulabchand Kataria (Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj) was also present on the occasion as the chief guest. A souvenir describing development work done by UMC was also inaugurated today.

Rajni Dangi (UMC Mayor) welcomed the governor and all guests on the occasion and talked about the historical and cultural importance of Udaipur.
