A two day event ‘Green India Workshop’ ended today at Rajasthan College of Agriculture. The workshop was attended by 80 regional officers from five states including M.P, Haryana, Delhi, U.P and Gujarat.

The subject of the workshop was based on how to develop Thar Desert area into green and agricultural land.

Indrapal Singh Matharu, D.FO North informed, “Four teams were made and all were given four different subjects related to the topic of workshop. The regional officers discussed on the subject and prepared a detailed report.”

“All reports will be formed as a project and will be presented to State Government of Rajasthan” added Matharu

Dr. G. Singh, scientist and D.S Rathore, Director, Research Center, Jodhpur were the main speakers of the workshop.
