Hajj Pilgrims from Udaipur have begun their journey to perform one of the most auspicious religious customs in Islam. The first group of pilgrims left for Jaipur on 17^th Sept to take the flight to Mecca, Saudi Arabia while the second group proceeded on 19^th Sept.

Zahiruddin Sakka, coordinator of Rajasthan State Hajj Committee 2014 informed that the first group that left on 17^th has already reached the holy city of Mecca while the second group of 25 pilgrims will take the flight from Jaipur today i.e. 20^th Sept.

A large number of people gathered at Udaipur City Railway Station to see off the pilgrims. The pilgrims were garlanded and wished a safe and successful pilgrimage.
