New Year eve gripped all and sundry in Udaipur as everybody celebrated the eve despite the chilling winter in and around the city. The Udaipurites whole heartedly welcomed The Year 2012 while giving a mesmeric farewell to 2011. The rush-hour has been noticed since early evening of the last day of year; Shopping Malls, Arcades, Lake side’s and the city centers were packed with cheerers.

Many took a ride down to countryside resorts and hotels to make the 12 O’clock (Zero Hour) phenomena most memorable. While Policemen were busy controlling traffic and anti-social elements, nothing however could stop the mounting craziness of some rough guys.

‘Masquerade’ ruled the party circles of Lakecity this year; theme based parties were another top choice of the people.
