Hundreds Participate in Shiv Yatra
Shiv Dal Mewar organized a mass procession today, on the Eve of Maha Shiv Ratri. The procession, which commenced from Town Hall witnessed a massive participation from hundreds of devotees belonging to various communities.

According to Manish Sharma, President, Shiv Dal Mewar, the procession included 12 Shivlings along with a framed photo of Lord Eklingnath.
The procession on its route covered prominent parts of city including Surajpol, Dehligate, Ghantaghar, Mukherji Chowk and Hathipol before concluding at Town Hall, where a public banquet was organized.
Manish Sharma further added that during the procession, Akhada Pradarshan was carried out by participating groups.
Maha Shiv Ratri will be celebrated on 27th February, when special prayers will be held at the Eklingji Temple. The first prayer will be held between 4:30am to 7am, the second from 10:30am to 1:30pm and the third at 5:00pm to 7:30pm.
During the celebration 52 Rudra Abhishek will be offered on the statue of Lord Shiva. The temple will be open for visitors from 10pm today to 11.30pm on 27th February.
