Pre-Convocation dinner for the outgoing batches of PGP and PGPX students of IIM Udaipur was held on 22 March, at the campus in Balicha.

The proceedings began with a Cultural Night performance by the Indian classical duo of Debasmita Bhattacharya (on Sarod) and Sandip Ghosh (on Tabla). The performance was indeed a treat for the audience, which included families and friends alike of the soon to be alumni of the institute.

After the musical performance, there was a felicitation ceremony for the meritorious students. PGP students Alok Shukla and Deepanshi Verma were the recipients of the GENPACT scholarship, whereas Arkaprabha Sanyal and Bhawana Agarwal were awarded the GRM Tech Scholarships.

Rank certificates to rank holders of both the courses were then awarded. Saravan Mariappan and Saumitra Kumar from PGPX and Adarsh Dubey, Alok Shukla, Deepanshi Verma and Sakshi Babar from PGP, were the rank holding students.

PGPX students Amit Sinha and Deepali Jain were the recipients of a special prize on their reflection papers for Purdue University experience.

Apart from that, outgoing members of the Council of Student Affairs (CSA) were also felicitated for their service to the institute over the previous year.

6th Convocation Ceremony for the PGP and PGPX students of IIM Udaipur is scheduled to be held on Friday 23rd March, 2018, during which the graduating batch of 2018 will be awarded their hard-earned degrees and be felicitated for their achievements.

Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman of Hero Entreprises, will be Chief Guest t the Convocation today. Sunil Kant Munjal is Chairman at Shivam Autotech Ltd., Chairman at BML Educorp Services, Chairman at Hero Corporate Services Ltd., Chairman at Hero Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Chairman & Managing Director at Hero Management Service Ltd., a Member of Prime Ministers Council on Trade & Industry, Member-Presidents Council at University of Tokyo and President at Ludhiana Sanskritik Samagam.

Pankaj Patel, CMD of Zydus Cadila, will also grace the occasion with his presence as Chairman of Board of Directors, IIM Udaipur. In addition to them, Industry Representatives and Corporate of Udaipur will be present for this grand ceremony.
