IIM will be hosting the first TEDx at the IIM Udaipur Campus on 14^th March, 2015. TEDxIIMUdaipur is a private event and will be held from 9 AM to 4.30 PM.

The goal of TEDxIIMUdaipur is to bring together the local community, visitors from across the nation as well as the students and faculty of IIM Udaipur to indulge in dialogue and discuss new and innovative ideas in diverse fields. The theme for TEDxIIMUdaipur 2015  is ‘The Smallest of Things’.

The event shall see Udaipurites like Bhakti Sharma, Waswo X Waswo, Rajiv Soni and Erika Abrams speak about their ideas and experiences. The event will also have Bharatnatyam exponent Rama Vaidyanathan, augmented reality expert Joshua Fernandes, Dr. Anurupa Roy and educationist Rajesh Kumar sharing their unique ideas.

TED, which stand for Technology, Entertainment and Design is a global set of conferences by a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas worth Spreading. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Richard Branson, Nandan Nilekani, Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Sal Khan and Daniel Kahneman.
