Model United Nations (MUN) is an authentic simulation of the UN General Assembly, UN Security Council, or other multilateral body, where students step into the shoes of ambassadors of countries that are members of the UN, from Argentina to Zimbabwe. The students, better known as “delegates”, debate current issues and prepare draft resolutions, resolve conflicts, and navigate the UN’s rules of procedure – all in the interest of resolving problems that affect the world.

Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN) is a social entrepreneurship venture dedicated to creating platforms for the youth and raising awareness about local, national and international issues. Having organized the Asia’s Largest Youth Conference in Mumbai amongst the many other conferences, IIMUN is now ready to organize an MUN from 5th to 7th February, 2016 in Heritage Girls’ School.

IIMUN Udaipur will make school level debaters don the hats of diplomats and promises to serve as a learning experience for every student participating in the same. Resolutions formed are forwarded to the United Nations and this serves as a platform for students to voice their opinions. This conference will bring in school and college level students who will discuss different topics in its 6 different councils such as discussions upon reforms of the Security Council, Violations of rights of women in Arab nations etc and 1 non-conventional committee being Lok Sabha.
