After a lot of buzz, Audacity 2015, IIMU’s cultural fest finally kick started with a lot of competitions, prizes and fun events to participate in.
The event started with a bike rally, flagged off by Indian boxer Vijendra Singh in association with MTV Roadies. A large group of students joined the rally, drove through the lanes of Udaipur and back to the campus.
The Nitro Carnival following the bike rally showcased daredevil stunts performed by professionals namely Atinderjeet aka Atom, Harshial aka Inferno, Rishabh aka Mutant, Lakshya aka Survivor and Abhishek aka Shin.
For the Bollywood fans, the PUB quiz was an entertaining platform to check the knowledge of Indian cinema. Also, the auditions for solo dancing and finals of Karaoke singing were held today. The major attraction ‘Street Play’ saw strong competition by studnets from 4 different colleges fighting it out for the first prize.
A number of fun events such as Anjaana Anjani and Angry Chicks, Paintball and Sumo Zorbing set the mood off competition and towards fun and frolic. For the artistically inclined, graffiti and face painting events were also played.
A number of food stalls served variety of cuisines and appetizers. Post lunch, the event was officially unveiled by Deodatta Kurane and Warren Stanley Patrick of Yes Bank followed by Rajasthan Tourism Cultural performance.
The event packed evening will witness Rock-a-Faire the war of bands, group dance and mime events. The highlight would be Rampage fashion show. The first day saw a lot of participation from locals and outsider students. It is a must visit event for those in Udaipur who are looking for a day of fun and excitement.
