Technotholon – the annual international school championship organized in the joint association of IIT Guwahati and Techniche is conducting test centers of prelims in Udaipur on 13th July at A-one School, University Road.

The event is completely managed by the student fraternity of IIT-GUWAHATI and is one of the most important modules of its annual technical fest, Techniche.

One of the representatives Hunar Jain informed that, “Recognizing the dire need of technical exposure and true inspiration for the present day school students. The student fraternity of IIT Guwahati organizes TECHNOTHLON.”

Jain also informed that, the previous edition of TECHNOTHLON witnessed an enormous participation of hundreds and thousands  of students across the globe. In India, the exam was conducted over 300 centres spread over more than 150 cities.

While informing more about the event, Hunar Jain said, “The students are divided into Junior Squad (Classes 9-10) and the Hauts Squad (Classes 11-12), who get separate question papers set by the students of IIT Guwahati. The paper is totally different from that of JEE, being based on logic, analytical ability and practical observations. The paper is to be attempted jointly by a team of 2.”

“Technothlon’13 witnessed a huge participation from over 150 centres all over the nation, while top 200 students were selected to come to IITG campus to compete with the best in the country. IITG is the only IIT to organize an event of this magnitude for school students,”said Jain.
