Preparations for the main function occasion of Independence Day at Bhandari Darkshak Mandap (Gandhi Ground) which is to be held on the i.e. on 15^th August, started today.

Various troops did parade rehearsal on ground today. District Collector Ashutosh Pednekar, instructed concerned authorities of various departments to make sure the function is a success and inspected the preparations.

He asked Air wing officials to present a show on 15^th August function which is going to be the main attraction of program. Pednekar also took information of parade done by armed force of police department and other groups from Additional Deputy Magistrate Mohammad Yaseen Pathan.

Freedom fighters who contributed in the struggle for Independence are also going to be honored on the occasion.

Collector asked Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Himmat Singh Barhat to check cleanliness and ambulance service on the venue and instructed health department, education department and public construction department to help make the program beautiful.

All government buildings, offices, historical constructions, gardens and gates will be decorated with lights.

Officials of all related departments were present today at Bhandari Darshak Mandap.
