58^th Wildlife Week will be celebrated in Udaipur from October 1, 2012. The event concentrating on infotainment of school students will be organized by the Forest Department.

As per information received from Deputy Forest and Wildlife Conservator, Rahul Bhatnagar, several competitions will be organized to spread awareness of nature and wildlife among the kids.

On the first day of wildlife week, students from class nursery till class 8^th will be taken for an educative walk to Gulaab Baag Zoological Park.

On October 4, students from class 6^th till class 12^th will be taken for a walk from Baghdara Naturepark to Baghdara Lake and on October 5, they will be taken to Jaisamand Sanctuary.

Bhatnagar said that, for registration, schools will have to register themselves with the Forest Department office, with the number of participanting students.
