To inject the importance of spirituality and to help the jail inmates obtain inner peace, a group of priests visited the Central Jail of Udaipur today and addressed the prisoners.

The program was organized by Shree Mahaveer Jain Sansthan based in Hiran Magri sector-5. The satsang was held in afternoon today where prisoners from hardcore to those who are arrested for petty crimes were present and listened to the sermons delivered by Punjab Shravin Gaurav Mamta Shriji Maharaj Sa along with her group of disciples.

According to the organizing committee, the program was held to rejuvenate the inner personality of prisoners. The program also is important from the perspective that it covered the three important festivals of Raksha Bandhan, Ramzan and Janmashtmi.

Jail officials including Jail D.I.G Nasir Khan and others welcomed the idea.
