Muskaan foundation for road safety conducted an interactive session on Road Safety at Reliance Mart located at Lakecity Mall, Udaipur.

The employees of Reliance Mart actively participated in the event. The session was presented by Ashwini Bagga and Nisha Bagga, the Chief Coordinators of Muskaan, Udaipur.

During the session they revealed the side effects of increasing traffic on the roads and the increasing number of accidents followed by higher fatality rate being reported. The Muskaan team also elaborated diverse reasons that lead to road accidents and also thrown light on ways to prevent these accidents.

They said that most of the accidents happen due to human carelessness thus these mishaps are preventable to a great extent. Udaipur stands on fifth position Rajasthan in terms of number of fatalities caused due to road accidents and India stands at first position which is really alarming and shocking.

During the session an appeal was made to all participants to take care of their safety and safety of other road user by following traffic rules and enhancing their knowledge.

On the occasion; Muskaan distributed Road Safety Calendars to all the participants and also requested the management to apply policies to implement road safety in their organization. At the end Rajeev Gupta, the Store Manager of Reliance Mart extended a vote of thanks to Muskaan team and all the participants.
