International Seminar on Transportation System begins at Sunrise College
An international seminar on transportation system has been organized today at engineering college of Sunrise Group of Institutions. Experts from various renowned educational organizations and institutions participated in the seminar and shared their detailed views on transportation system.
An international seminar on transportation system has been organized today at engineering college of Sunrise Group of Institutions. Experts from various renowned educational organizations and institutions participated in the seminar and shared their detailed views on transportation system.
The program was inaugurated by Prof. M. L. Kalra, Managing Director of Sunrise and Prof. Dingra from IIT Mumbai.
Prof. Dingra representing I.I.T. Mumbai emphasized economical, convenient and easily accessible means of transportation in the first technical session. He was of the view that parking related problems are social responsibility.
Prof. Tanveer Alam presented short term and long term solutions through animated videos created by ‘vision software’ particularly for Gudli Crossway in the second technical session. Representatives from PWD, Municipal Board, CTAE and other engineering colleges expressed their valuable suggestions for transport planning. I.R.C.Code was appraised by the authorities, while students of Sunrise College portrayed alternative poster solutions for Gudli Tiraha.
Prof. Ashish Verma, I.I.Sc., Bangaluru emphasized the need to gauge the requirement specification before the planning, while Prof. Ali Hakim Ilahi, the transport expert from Iran presented the utility of under bridges for fuel efficiency.
Prof. M. L. Kalra, the M.D. and Harish Rajani, Director of the Sunrise group of Institutions exhorted students to work diligently for transport solutions of Udaipur’s anarchical transport system to cope with the tremendous pressure of modernization. The efforts made by the Sunrise were commended by all the participants.
