First International Monumental Stone Sculpture Symposium, conducted in Udaipur in order to promote the culture of art and to beautify the city, will conclude tomorrow at Darpan Hall, Shilpgram with an exhibition showcasing all the stone sculptures.

At the start of the Symposium, 21 national and international artists were provided with regionally extracted solid marble, granite rocks (worth 1-1.5 Crore each) which they have transformed into amazing structures. All the sculptures thus created will embellish the main circles and lakes of the city.

The competition was organized as an appreciable initiative taken by District Collector Vikas S. Bhale to promote the culture of art and to increase the beauty of Udaipur. He said that these beautiful pieces of art will add to the elegance of the city’s main public places such as Lakeside of Fateh Sagar, Railway Station, Maharana Pratap Airport, etc.

The exhibition will be open to the public till 30^th April between 11-7 pm every day.
