The Sixth Annual function of Jaipur National University, Technorazz – 2012 was inaugurated today morning with great pomp and show. This 3rd day Mahakumbh of Techno-cultural events continued till the latter half of the evening.

Today’s events consisted of scintillating Band competition, Master Chef Competition, Solo-song competition, Group dance competition and Fashion show competition.
The Director of SILAS, Dr. Preeti Bakshi said “We have being organizing this Mega Fest successfully for the last six years and we are planning to host this Mega Event ever year and make it International in the near future.”
This year more than 3000 students from different colleges and Universities are participating to expose and explore their talents and skills on this platform.
Jaipur National University’s Master Chef Competition, a part of Technorazz – 2012 had an exciting format this year where all the amateur chefs showcased their culinary talent. Teams from IIHM, Maharshi Arvind Institute, FCI Ajmer, CHA, CIHM and 2 teams from JNU formed this Mega Gala.
The competition consisted of three rounds quiz, food preparation and presentation. The scores were distributed on the terms of planning, hygiene, taste, presentation, aroma and creativity.Anshuman Kelsy, assistant director of Hotel Management, JNU said: “This culinary competition held at JNU every year helps to unleash the inner talents of the upcoming chefs of the contemporary era”.
This was followed in the afternoon by the solo song competition and songs like ‘Every Night in My Dreams’ and ‘Kabhi Shaam Dhalae…’ and many more songs sung by the participants mesmerized the audience.
The audience at Technorazz-2012 was awestruck with a heavy dose of musical performance from the three bands- ‘Pirates of the heart, Distortion and Four horsemen’. The bands set the stage on fire with their ecstatic performances which made the humid afternoon appear pleasant for the crowd witnessing the enthralling performances.
They played a series of famous Bollywood numbers and a couple of them were from the classical and Sufi albums from the recent past.
Anil Saxena and Anil David were the maestros present judging the highly energetic event.
In the evening group dance competition was organized in which various groups from different colleges performed on different contemporary themes. The themes were designed by the students themselves for the fashion show, ‘Sizzle-in-Style’.
This three day Mega Event will be concluding on 29 September with the fabulous performances by the young singing sensations Yashraj Kapil and Charu Semwal of Indian Idol fame.Press Release
