A jewellery showroom was inaugurated by actress Diya Mirza on Sunday.

Bollywood actress Diya Mirza was in Udaipur on Sunday to inaugurate a jewellery showroom. Sojatiya Jewellers opened a new jewellery showroom at Court Chouraha for which actress Diya Mirza was invited for inauguration. Miss International Tourism Parul Bindal, Super Model Lavina Israni and Miss Asia Pacific Parul Mishra were also present for the event.

Dr. Mahendra Sojatiya, Director of Sojatiya Jewellers said that a variety of jewellery along with Diamond and Polki Rajwadi collection is available in this new showroom. The others present on the event of inauguration were B R Agrawal(Chairperson Pacific University), Rahul Agrawal (Secretary Pacific), President of Jewellers Association Inder Singh Mehta and Founder of Sojatiya Group Prof. Ranjit Singh Sojatiya.

Actress Diya hummed a few lines of a song from her movie RHTDM on the demand of her fans. A lot of crowd had gathered around the showroom while the actress was inaugurating it. The fans wanted to click selfies with the actress. Even the actress enjoyed the attention from her fans. She expressed her gratitude towards the love of Udaipur people and said that Udaipur city is breathtakingly beautiful.

Diya also commented on the recent scandals of the babas. She emphasised that such people must be exposed and not spared at all. She mentioned the names of Ram Rahim and Asaram Bapu saying that they got what they deserved.

The actress also said that the film industry has had a tradition that the heroes work with heroines who are comparatively much younger to them. This trend is now changing. She also spoke about the recent release “Padmavati”. She said that no one should jump to conclusions before watching any film. Someone even asked her to comment on comparison between film actors and television actors. To this Diya replied that both are good in their own ways.
