Jamiat Saifiya Burhania (JSB) an International social body of Dawoodi Bohra community has organized a unique event of car-rally to mark the 100th birthday celebration of their spiritual leader Dr. Mohammad Burhanuddin.
Rally started on 27th February from Burhanpur M.P will cover nearly 2100kms with stopovers on 6 different cities Ujjain, Ahmadabad, Mandvi, Jamnagar, Surat and Mumbai being the final destination where the event will conclude on 6th April.
Nearly 200 cars are participating in this one of the biggest international event organized by bohra community. Teams from Indian states like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi, Bihar, Tamilnadu, West Bengal including international teams from U.K., U.S.A, Canada, France, UAE, Kuwait, Indonesia, Malaysia and Tanzania are also giving their greatest tribute to this historical event.
Udaipur, though not in the 6 stopovers but has a participating 3 members team (photo above) driving Mitsubishi Pajero NO.22. The team members Hussain Mustafa, Javed Khakarwala and Fakhruddin Magar are looking forward to win the race.Yesterday when the rally reached Ahmedabad they were welcomed by already gathered crowd of Bohras with garlands and firecrackers, today the rally will be on the way to Mandvi where they will stay overnight.

The main aim of this event including the 100th birthday of Bohra Spiritual leader, all 6 stopovers has shrines of 26 spiritual leaders of Dawoodi Bohra community where every team will stop and pay their homage.
Winning teams will get prizes of worth Rs. 1 Crore cash and many other consolation prizes. The event is sponsored by Monginis – Chain of bakeries and cake shops, HYLITE – Hardware Company and Mumbai based Tridat Technologies.
