The three-day long Golden Jubilee event of College of Technology & Engineering (CTAE) began on Friday. Home Minister, Gulabchand Kataria was the chief guest and Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari was the special guest at the event.

The three-day long Golden Jubilee event of College of Technology & Engineering (CTAE) began on Friday. Home Minister, Gulabchand Kataria was the chief guest and Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari was the special guest at the event.

On the completion of 50 years, a brochure of ex-students – ‘C-Gold Souvenir’ and a College Brochure was unveiled by the guests. The literature encompasses over 40 technical papers of contribution by agricultural engineering in rural areas. The brochure contains details of over 5000 alumnus of the institution.

A ‘Golden Gate’ was also inaugurated in the event, symbolizing the efforts and hard work of every individual associated with the institution from the past 50 years.

Chancellor, Dr. OP Gill in his presidential speech, said that engineers from CTAE have played many major roles in developing technology and equipment used for water conservation and agriculture. He urged the alumnus to keep in touch with the University, so that students can benefit from their experiences.

Gulabchand Kataria and Chandra Singh Kothari also spoke in the event and urged everyone to work for the benefit of farmers, educating them about how to optimize their production using current technology and also to be a part of ‘Sawacch Bharat’ initiative by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

On the second day, yesterday, alumni were awarded for their contribution in their respective fields. The chief guest of the event was MLA (Sikar), Nand Kishore Mahariya, who is also an alumnus of the institute.
