Annual State Level Khaadi and Cottage Industry Fair will start from 8th December at Town Hall Premises this year. This 18-Day fair is being organized by Khaadi Gramudhyog, Mumbai and Rajasthan Aadimjati Sevak Sangh, Jaipur. Motive behind this fair is to provide market to small scale khaadi and cottage industries.

Fair will start at 12 noon and will continue till 9 PM every day. Fair will have 150 stalls displaying a variety of Khaadi and Cottage Industry products; Khaadi products will be available at a discount of 10 to 25 percent.

Fair Organizer Banwari Lal Gaur said that like every year, the fair will start from December 8. It will consist of 100 Khaadi Stalls and 50 Cottage Industry Stalls which will have cloths, sarees, dress materials, shawl, blankets, cots, pillows made of cotton, synthetic, woolen, silk etc. fair will also have a variety of pickles, ayurvedic herbal products, spices, handicrafts, leather products etc. In the fair, cotton, woolen, khaadi products will be sold at a discount of 25%, Polyester products at a discount of 20% and silk khaadi products at a discount of 10 – 15%.
