Teachers from several private and government schools of Udaipur and nearby places including Bhilwara, Rajsamand and Chittorgarh were honored during Khushi Teacher’s Day Award 2014, organized by Hindustan Zinc in association with Dainik Bhaskar.

The grand ceremony was held on 5^th Sept at Sukhadia Auditorium where more than 100 teachers were honored for their contribution in education and development of children.

Awards were given by Pawan Kaushik, HZL Head Corporate Communication, CSR Mehta, Head Corporate Relation, Dr Prashant Agarwal, President Narayan Seva Sansthan and Sanjay Kumar Sharma, COO, Dainik Bhaskar (Rajasthan).

Dr Indrajeet Singhvi getting award

Dr. S. K Kaushik, ex-Prinicipal, RNT Medical College received Lifetime Achievement Award while Dr Indrajeet Singhvi from Pacific College of Pharmacy received Best Performance Award in Pharmacy Education. Neeru Tandon, Principal of Delhi Public School Udaipur, received Best Performance Award for Best Result in India.

A documentary film based on Hindustan Zinc’s “Khushi” was also screened during the program. The film revolved around underprivileged children who are suffering from malnutrition and have no access to educational facilities. Theme of the film was “Tera Sapna Pura Hojayega” .
