It was Sukhadia Rang Manch’s one of the most treasured evenings, particularly for all die-hard-fans of Indian Classical Music and even more interesting for a layman like me who’d discovered an absolute new perspective of classical music and art, LIVE.

2nd day of The 49th Maharana Kumbha Sangeet Samaroh was ignited with the thrilling waves of music and dance performances by the finest artists of India i.e duet vocal by Pandit Rajan-Sajan Mishra and Sufi Kathak by Rani Khanam.

Watching the Mishra brothers singing seems, listening to one voice. Perfect synchronization of raga and a well balanced symphony left the audience astound.Khyal and Sufi Kathak Mesmerized Audience: Kumbha Music Festival Day 2

Padma Bhushan Rajan and Sajan Mishra are committed to the 300 years old Khyal singing, a style of Indian classical music. They never performed solo and definitely that’s the best reward of God to them in addition to their ideal talent.
