Kids to make their own Films at National Children Film Festival

National Children Film Festival being held at Udaipur from 29th to 31st March is all set to entertain kids. More than 50,000 kids from Udaipur region will be treated to a variety of movies, exhibitions and workshops during this 3-day fest.
Children Film Society of India is organizing this fest along with Udaipur City Administration as the Hosting partners. Ashutosh Pednekar, District Collector met with the Administrative to discuss the preparations for the upcoming event.
Along with movies, workshops on subject of animation, film making and film inspiration will also be organized for the youngsters. Artists from Film Institute, Pune will lead these workshops.
Kids interested in film making will be divided in a group and will be instructed on how to go about the basics of the task. A camera and related equipment will be given to each group and a jury will pick the best film shot by kids.
In Udaipur City, PVR Cinemas at The Celebration Mall, INOX at Lakecity Mall, Ashoka Cinema, Auditorium at Railway Training Institute and Muktakanshi Manch at Shilpgram will host the movie shows on the given dates.
Projectors will be used to show movies in areas including Salumber, Sarada, Mavli, Fatehnagar, Bhinder, Kherwada, Gogunda, Kotda and Jhadol. Many kids will also be brought from nearby villages to Udaipur City for the event.
