“80% of the knee and joint problems can be removed by just timely treatment and exercise”, it was said by famous rheumatologist Dr. Vishnu Sharma of Ahemdabad. A relief camp for knee and joint pain related patients was organized in Aravali hospital where around 118 people were treated.

In this camp he told the major reasons behind rheumatism are change of lifestyle, lack of exercise and delayed treatment. Due to lack of awareness about the disease, every eighth person is suffering from this disease. 20% of his operations were for curing joint and knee pains only. Anand upta, the director of Aravali hospitals told that to facilitate patients here itself, this camp is organized every first Sunday of the month.
