The 15 kms Heritage Walk on Fort Kumbhalgarh was won by Mahipal Lega of Sikar who completed the race in 1 hour 18 minutes. Lega beat the previous record by 11 minutes.

More than 350 people from various states took part in the historic annual event at Kumbhalgarh Fort today. The race was flagged off by District Collector of Rajsamand, Dr. Pritam B Yashwant and S.P Shweta Dhankad.

Several folk dances were presented by local artists during the program. At the end of the event, Madan Paliwal, CMD of Miraj Group and other higher officials of J.K Group and R.K Marbles presented prizes to the winners.

While Mahipal Lega won the race, Anup Kumar of Muzaffar Nagar (UP) stood second and Praveen Boliwal from Railmagra received third prize. All top three winners were awarded with cash prizes of Rs. 51000, Rs.31000 and Rs.21000 respectively.
