As the fingers of Ustad Nishat Khan started playing the strings of Sitar, a wave of melodious music enchanted the audience. Khan continued playing his favorite Raagas and gripped the music adherent crowd.

The annual Indian classical music event Maharana Kumbha Sangeet Samaroh concluded with magnificent performances by Sitarist Ustad Nishat Khan and prominent Kathak Dancer Shobhna Narayan.

As the fingers of Ustad Nishat Khan started playing the strings of Sitar, a wave of melodious music enchanted the audience. Khan continued playing his favorite Raagas and gripped the music adherent crowd.

Kathak performance by Shobhna Narayan was also highly appraised. She very well depicted the pain of Yashodhara, wife of Gautam Budhha in her spell bound dance packed with remarkable expressions and choreography.

Akhilesh Joshi, CEO Vedanta was the chief guest of the event while Dinesh Kothari, administrative officer and Bhagwat Babel, joint director of Secure Meters were special guests. The program was headed by Shailendra Dashora, director WZCC.

Dr. Yashwant Kothari, Chief Secretary of Maharana Kumbha Sangeet Parishad welcomed all guests.
