Around 50 amateur and professionals photographers of Udaipur including city’s photo journalists and more than 100 photographs of various genre like wildlife, fashion, macro, landscape, portrait and city life are being exhibited in the exhibition gallery of Information Centre’s Office situated at Mohta Park, Chetak Circle.

We are talking about the most talked-about and the first photography competition cum exhibition organized by Lakecity Press Club in association with Pratyush Hindi Magazine in the memory of prominent photo journalist of Udaipur Late Jaykant Sharma which has started today. The exhibition will be also open on15th February, from 10.00 am till 5.00pm.

To inaugurate the function, MLSU’s vice chancellor Prof.I.V. Trivedi, Additional District Magistrate M.L Chauhan, Chief Editors of Rashtra Doot D.I Khan, IN News Ugrasen Rao and Pratyush were present with other respected guests, judges, participants and audience.

It was an amazing experience for every viewer to see the quality of photographs exhibited. Especially the photographs clicked by amateur photographers of Udaipur, some of them started photography just few months back while some others have 10-20 years of experience.

While addressing the audience, Ugrasen Rao narrated the incidents while working with Late. Jaykant Sharma, Mr. Rao has worked with Jaykant Sharma for long. He said that “Jaykant Sharma was men with a golden heart; he was not only a photographer but was a social thinker as well. All over, he was a great man to work with; his memories will remain fresh in our heart and mind”
