On one end, where the audience was enticed by the dazzling performances of Little Champs, Vaishnavi Patil of Dance India Dance Fame and India’s Dancing Superstar Akshaypal, the Standup Comedian Uday Dahiya’s jokes tickled the funny bone in the Nagar Nigam compound on the 5th day of Deepawali Mela 2014.

The program commenced with Udaipur’s child artist Tithi Bohra’s performance on stage.  RJ Himanshu, who was anchoring the program, introduced the Sparkle Dance Group.

Dancing talent Vaishnavi performed hip-hop, bollywood, contemporary and mixed act of folk and western dance. Her dancing talents have been showcased on several popular TB shows viz. India’s Got Talent, Boogie Woogie, Dance India Dance, Nach Le, etc.

Child artist Akshyapal who belongs to Madhya Pradesh’s Mahu also impressed the audience with his dancing skills. Akshaypal was first runner up in India’s Dancing Superstar, winner of Dum-damadum-Dum, Boogie Woogie, top-5 finalists of India’s Got Talent, second runner Up of DID Little Master, etc.

Comedian Uday Dahiya made people laugh on his satire based on children, spouses and politics. Originally belonging to Madhya Pradesh; Uday came into limelight from Laughter Challenge season 1 and 2. He had also worked in many TV soaps including Lapata Ganj, Gini aur Jiju, Chanda aur Kanoon, etc.

Kavi Sammelan today

In association with RK Marbles, Nagar Nigam Udaipur is organizing a Kavi Sammelan today on the 6th day of cultural events.

Famous poets including Dr Hariom Panwar, Pradeep Choube, Jagdish Solanki, Vishnu Saxena, Sardar Manjeet Singh, Shalini Sargam, Shyam Parashar and Rao Ajat Shatru are going to present their piece.
