Local Band Celebrates World Music Day
For the first time in Udaipur, World Music Day was celebrated in the City. Rooh, the local band of Udaipur performed on the occasion at the Gurudayal Garden, Ambapol. The event was organized by handful of music passionate of the city.

Music enthusiast band of Udaipur played both Bollywood numbers as well as classical music and echoed the atmosphere with melodious strings.
The performers of the event also paid homage to the deceased of tragedy caused at Kedarnath; a 2 minutes silence was observed before starting the program.
Farid and his group, Organizers of the event informed that at the very first, World Music Day was celebrated on 21st June 1982 in France; ever since recognition of the day gained popularity and presently the day is celebrated in around 460 cities of 110 countries, including India.
