The great warrior and freedom fighter of Mewar, Maharana Pratap was remembered today on the occasion of his 419th death anniversary.

Various programs and events were held in the city to memorize the contribution of Maharana Pratap in establishing the Mewar Dynasty and protecting it from foreign power and invaders.

Maharana Pratap Smarak Samiti has organized a remembrance meet up at Moti Magri Garden in front of the gigantic statue of Pratap on his faithful horse Chetak.

Samiti secretary Yudhveer Singh Shaktawat has informed that all employees and members of MPSS with many notable personalities of city offered flowers on the statue as honor and remembered Maharana Pratap.

Mewar Shatriya Mahasabha also commemorated Maharana Pratap at Moti Magri Smarak.

Dr Rajendra Singh Jagat, president of Mahasabha narrated the characteristics of Pratap and insisted everyone to walk on the similar principals.

Dilip Singh Bansi, Kundan Singh Muroli, Virendra Singh Boheda, Ghanshyam Singh Bhinder, Kamlendra Singh Panwar, Yogendra Singh Chouhan, Bhagwat Singh Kucholi etc were present on the occasion.
