Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria unveiled the life-sized statue of Maharana Pratap at the Rana Pratap Railway Station on 26^th September in a grand ceremony.

He addressed the gathering saying that there is a development fund of Rs. 1300 Cr allotted by RUIDP, Smart City, AMRUT Scheme and Hindustan Zinc which will be utilized for development of Ayad River, establishment of Maharana Pratap Gaurav Kendra, filming of documentary on Pratap and other useful propositions.

Talking about the railway budget, Kataria said that son second entry will be opened at the City Railway Station with the help of Nagar Nigam and MLA’s Rs. 1.60 Cr fund. Also the administration and the government are working towards converting the Udaipur-Ahmedabad route into broad gauge with Rs. 300 Cr allotted to the project.

Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari during the event said that on Sunday, suggestion forms for Smart City mission will be filled with general public’s opinions on 12 various parameters and sent across to the government.

The event was presided over by Himmat Singh Barhath, Pramod Samar, Manohar Chaudhary, Hansa Mali, Dinesh Kothari and other delegates and officials.
