Kumbha Sangeet Samaroh witnessed its first day of Indian classical music fiesta with Bharatanatyam by Dr. Mallika Sarabhai and Drupad by vocalists Umakant & Ramakant Gundecha.

Graceful dance performance with different mesmerizing appearances and expressions, and sculpturesque poses by Mallika Sarabhai captivated the audiences at the Samaroh. She presented Padam and Nat Nagra to demonstrate the scene of Cheer Haran.

Dhrupad, one of the most revered genres in Indian Classical Music, was presented by famous Padamshri Gundecha Brothers. The amalgamation of Alaap was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience in the auditorium.
