Mass Media Students from Mumbai Visited Lakecity Press Club

50 students from Mumbai’s College of Mass Communication visited Udaipur’s Lakecity Press Club to interact with media and journalism professionals as part of their educational tour.

 
50 students from Mumbai’s College of Mass Communication visited Udaipur’s Lakecity Press Club to interact with media and journalism professionals as part of their educational tour. Mass Media Students from Mumbai Visited Lakecity Press Club Second and third year students of Smt. Maniben M.P Shah Women’s College, Matunga met Udaipur based journalists, media personnel while discussing various informative topics related to the field of mass communication and media at Lakecity Press Club. Dialogue session started at 12:30pm and continued for more than one hour between students and journalists where students asked questions regarding career in journalism, media’s role in society, ethics of media and basic problems reporters faced by reporters while working. Journalists from all leading print and electronic media were present in the session. Lakecity Press Club’s President Akhtar Khan said that “Journalism is a tree with different branches, we all (professionals) are divided in our respective fields of branch and such educational tours give us equal opportunity to share our experiences to these students, it was a great experience for us and we hope students of MP Shah Women’s college also enjoyed talking, I wish them all the best for their bright future in media industry.” Prabha Nair, Vice principal of the college said, “it’s a great experience till now, we enjoyed a lot. It’s a complete new world for our students.” Rudhra M student of SYBMM journalism said, “I hate working on table, I like challenging work and that’s why journalism is best I see for my career.” Jheel, student of TYBMM advertising said that Udaipur is a wonderful place to live, people are so good. It is a pollution free city as compared to Mumbai.” Mass Media Students from Mumbai Visited Lakecity Press Club Speakers from Lakecity Press Club Kaushal Mundra from Rajasthan Patrika, Manu Rao from IN News, Munish Arora from Punjab Kesari, Sanjay Gautam from Dainik Bhaskar , Mohammad Iliyas from Rajasthan Patrika and Sanjay Khabiya from UdaipurExpress answered the queries of students and shared their real life experience in the field of Journalism. Students will visit IN-News office and some newspaper office too.
