Mass Wedding: Free Land Plot, Money for couples | Registration Open

Life Progressive Society is organising an all religion mass wedding ceremony on January 7,2017 with the objective of promoting communal harmony. For the couples getting married during this ceremony, the society is promising a land plot of 500 sq ft in Udaipur district at no cost.

The Society is not stopping at that. The couples will also get Fixed Deposit worth Rs 15000, television, refrigerator, cooler, government assistance, sewing machine as a medium to support employment, gas cylinder and kitchen items.

Society President, Dr Khalil Agwani informed that the preparation for the event are in full swing. So far, 19 couples have registered and the Society has a target of 151 couples in this massive mass wedding function.

Nominees have been designated from different religions for the marriage rituals. C.P. Salvi and Sanju Rahi (Hindu rituals), Mustafa Raza, Salim Raza and Haji Rafeeq Pathan (Muslim rituals), Father Norman Harbert (Christian rituals), Ravindra Singh Kappu (Sikh) and Virendra Kumar Nagauri (Jain) will be representing their religions.

The brides participating the mass wedding will be given training on employment skills related to stitching, Mehendi and basic computers before and after the wedding.

Registration for the wedding can be done at Udaipur, Kapasan and Al Aleem Tours, Khanjipeer.
