The auditions for Master Chef Rajasthan Season-2 will take place on 3^rd and 4^th August in Udaipur. The biggest cooking competition Fortune Oil Master Chef Rajasthan is powered by Pigeon Kitchen Appliances. Only home cooks are eligible to participate in this competition, as informed by Master Chef Dr Sangeeta Dhar.

There are 3 different categories for the competition viz. Junior (upto 18 years of age), Single (above 18 years) and team category. The participants are required to bring along one home cooked dish which will be tested by the jury members. The audition is of 50 marks wherein 10 marks are for presentation, 10 marks about the knowledge of the prepared dish, 20 marks for plating 10 marks for recipe writing. 15 best cooks will be chosen for the next round. After the auditions all rounds of competition will take place in Ananta Institute of Hotel Management in Jaipur on 12^th, 13^th and 14 August.
