Matki Mela organized on Aanwla Ekadashi
The years old tradition of Aanwla Ekadashi was celebrated at Gangu Kund, Ayad. A Matki Mela (Fair of Earthen Pots) was organized in which hundreds of people gathered to purchase the colorful pots made by Kumbhkar community.

On the other side, at Jagdish Temple, Faagotsav was observed on the eve of Falgun Shulk Ekadashi. Songs and hymns were sung to commemorate the arrival of Faag season. Devotees worshiped Thakurji with flowers, colors and incenses.
In the Fair, women especially bought earthen pots that are a symbol of summer season. Toys for children and household items were also sold in the fair. Completed with entertainment and food, the fair witnessed more gathering of rural people.
