The formal oath taking ceremony of the Meera Girls College students’ union took place today at 12:30pm.

Chief Guest on the occasion was I. V. Trivedi, Vice-Chancellor, Mohan Lal Sukhadia University. Special Guests were Bharat Sharma, Chairman, Nand Ganga Manav Sewa Samiti and Dr. Lalita Vyas, Ex-Principal, MG College.

The program started with the Vande Matram song. After the song, Principal Savita Joshi welcomed the chief guest and the special guests with her a speech. She also thanked them for their esteemed presence.

The Union members were sworn in by I. V. Trivedi.

After swearing in the students, Trivedi said, “I am proud of this college, and I will be looking forward to solve the problems of this college in the Co-ordination committee meet. Skill and personality development programs will be organized for the students of the college”.

He appealed to the girls for being creative and said that, every new idea will be implemented in the favor of students, students are our centre point.”

Businessman Bharat Vyas, gave badges to the Union members and promised for financial help to the institution.

In the proceeding ceremony, two of the students presented solo songs. The first item was a ghazal, followed by a Rajasthani song.
