The Jain Community is celebrating 2613^th Birthday of Lord Mahaveer and has planned number of activities over 9 day celebration. In the series of events organized as part of Mahaveer Jayanti, on sixth day today mehendi competition was organized by Mahveer Jain Parishad.

According to Vijay Laxmi Galundiya, President, Mahveer Jain Parishad (Women Cell), “In this competition, 118 female of Jain Community participated, at venue Terapanth Bhawan in Anuvarat Chowk earlier this noon, where they made various designs with mehendi on their palm.”

According to Rajkumar Fatawat, Convener, Mahaveer Jain Parishad, “Results of the mehendi competition was declared by Judges Suman Suyal and Rekha Agrawal. First prize was awarded to Reena Soni, second was given to Divya Kunwat and third prize was handed over to Renuka Jain.”

Fatwat further added that cultural night of various women cell of Jain Community will be organized on 11^th April, at Municipal Corporation Campus from 7pm onwards where events of singing, dancing and theater performances will be held.
